As a boy, among Nico’s most memorable early music inspirations were times with his grandfather listening to a range of music from opera (The Three Tenors, Helmut Lotti, and Andrea Bocelli) to rock n roll oldies. Of all these, Luciano Pavarotti singing “Nessun Dorma” stands out as a truly unforgettable imprinting.
A few years later, Nico began to learn the piano, where he found a talent for creating his expressive music. It was then that his fascination with film scores soon began – as he learned to play themes from Harry Potter, The Pink Panther, and Pirates of the Caribbean. Nico continued his musical expression with the guitar. Throughout high school, he cultivated an ear for writing scores on both instruments.

Nico went on to attend Stonehill College where he sought out degrees in Business and Music. While there, he and his roommate would compose together and perform in the school pub. Throughout his college career, Nico would
write a suite of musical compositions – some by request for short films and many others to simply experiment with a variety of emotions.
Nico furthered his education at Berklee College of Music, focusing on film and TV scoring. Bringing together his knowledge, experience, and joy, Nico created his own sound design company where he composes unique musical experiences by providing innovative thinking and all-round mindful collaboration with his partners and clients.
